Our Presentation:
We made this through a shared powerpoint. Our Uber there was £20.
Snaps from the lesson:
I sourced the boxes, paper and objects from my room. We didn't do name tags in the end. The art teacher, John, found some A3 paper also.

How it went:
We arrived at 8:20 and set up, lay the items out, logged in to the computer and opened the powerpoint. Pupils arrived at 8:40. Because it was a new lesson, it took a while for all of them to arrive. We read through the presentation we'd made, taking it in terms when it came to the three sections of Subjects, Lighting, and Composition. We were very good and sharing the talking load and chipping in if something was missed. We divided the class into two groups of 3 because at the start it was only 6 pupils. We instructed the pupils with the task of making studios out of boxes and paper. Emily and I each went with a group. We saw over them experimenting with photographing the objects, offered advice and tips along the way. The pupils were really engaged and receptive. Encouraging them was fun and easier because of this. The pupils were creative, playing with lighting, positioning, and subjects. They moved on to using the standing lights and pink backdrop, even changing it to orange upon request. They moved on to multiple subjects in the frame without prompt - showing interest and experimentation. We didn't have a break because they were into shooting so much, we did wrap up the lesson at 10:10 which gave us time to debrief - asking them to think about one thing they enjoyed learning and any techniques they want to learn throughout these sessions so we can be sure to teach them and John informed the pupils about the google classroom that the pupils were asked to upload any images they are happy with and want to share - allowing me and Emily to see them and for us as a class to reflect on them next lesson.
We were very happy with how it went and to have completed the first lesson successfully! Now to plan lesson 2...
